Model in the Studio, Pt. 1
The peculiarities of working with a model in the studio are primarily due to soft and diffused light, which is very different from the sunlight on the street. In this course, we'll cover the basic rules for working with a model. We will pay particular attention to mixing colors to get the right skin tone.

List of materials:
Paper: 100% cotton 300 gsm (140 pounds) paper from Saunders or Arches, size 15 x 15 inches.
Brush:
Round paintbrush (or mop), squirrel, goat or equivalent (approximately #12). Chinese calligraphy brush (available in our online store) is highly recommended.
Strong hair flat brush, goat or synthetic. I will use 5-Line Flat goat brush (available in our online store). These brushes (5 or 7 lines) are highly recommended. Soft squirrel brushes are not recommended.
Paint:
I highly recommend Daniel Smith watercolor in tubes. In case of impossibility, you can use any other professional brand. Small sets for travel are NOT recommended.

Quinacridone Sienna
Quinacridone Deep Gold
Perylene Violet
Alizarin Crimson
Cobalt Blue
Indigo
Masking tape, any board to stretch paper on, and paper towels.
