Spontaneous Painting
How to avoid copying from a photo? There are always so many details, elements ... We have already discussed how to make the right selection. But if everything seems too complicated and even taking up a brush is scary - spontaneous painting comes to the rescue.
In this tutorial we will learn a few techniques that will come in handy and will allow us to tackle even the most complex projects. And, most importantly, to preserve the freshness and lightness of the watercolor.
Today we are moving to sunny and colorful Mexico. The spontaneous painting style is just perfect for our task

List of materials:
Paper: 100% cotton 300 gsm (140 pounds) Rough (Torchon) paper from Saunders, Arches, or Fabriano Artistico, size around 11 x 15 inches or 22 x 15 inches.
Brush:
Round paintbrush (or mop), squirrel, goat or equivalent (approximately #12). Chinese calligraphy brush (available in our online store) is highly recommended.
Strong hair flat brush, goat or synthetic. I will use 7-Line Flat goat brush (available in our online store). These brushes (5 or 7 lines) are highly recommended. Soft squirrel brushes are not recommended.
Paint:
I highly recommend Daniel Smith watercolor in tubes. In case of impossibility, you can use any other professional brand. Small sets for travel are NOT recommended.

Quinacridone Sienna
Quinacridone Deep Gold
Alizarin Crimson
Perylene Violet
Cobalt Blue
Phthalo Blue GS
Phthalo Green BS
Indigo
Masking tape, any board to stretch paper on, and paper towels.
